Congrats to Redick & Williams
Sorry for the delay of posts. I have been really busy, and to tell you the truth, there hasn't been anything happening in Blue Devil nation.
Well, the draft has come and gone. And two of the most celebrated Blue Devils of all time will be taking the "easy" road in life.......Playing professional basketball.
Sheldon Williams shot up the draft board in the last week, and was selected #5, going to the Atlanta Hawks. And I am sure Sheldon is thinking what many of us were thinking......"Hey, as long as the check clears."
JJ Redick was picked by the Orlando Magic. Which is what most people figured would happen. He goes to a more established team then Sheldon, with a scrappy point guard in Jameer Nelson, and a proven post man in Dwight Howard. This should give JJ some open looks, and let him play his game.
I wish them both the best of luck, and hope their professional careers are long, and successful!!!
