Coach K ready to start the season

After what some might consider a disappointing finish in the FIBA(does anyone really give a damn) World Championships, Coach K returns to Durham with a excited feel. He begins this season with a young and inexperienced team. However, this looks to be on of the most deep and athletic teams in years. Balance is an important part of basketball, and the Blue Devils come in this season with plenty of it. I for one look forward to an exciting brand of Blue Devil basketball. But someone who looks more forward to it then anybody...........Coach K.

Until they lost to Greece, Coach K was showered with praise. Writers were saying how he has changed the face of USA basketball and the gold was as good as ours. And once that lose came.......Sportswriters did the usual flip-flop and critizied the young USA team. I am frankly tired of hearing about USA basketball. All I am going to say is that Coach K knows better than anyone that you don't build a dynasty overnight. I predict gold in 2008!!!!!

Back to the things that matter. Today if you look hard enough in the town of Medford, OR, you might see a very famous individual. Coach K is visiting Kyle Singler at his home in Oregon, and trying to convince him to come play at the royal family of college basketball. Singler has been the top target in the 2007 class since last year. Singler is one of the few top players left on the board. After this visit Singler will come to Duke for his official visit next week. His top two choices are Duke, and UCLA.

Kyle, if you are reading this and I am sure you are not. Come to Duke.....win basketball games.....become famous....win championships......and which I am sure is your long term goal, become a high draft pick, go to a shitty team, and get payed plenty for it. This is where you belong!!!

Slimtim,

About Singler....you want him to take the Mike Dunleavy Jr. route? I'd take that one. 3 years at Duke, a National Championship, the 3rd pick in the NBA draft, and tons of money....nice.
